Drive for Life Event

Our sixth form students are attending a wide range of presentations, demonstrations and other activities to raise their awareness of road safety issues.  They are learning about how accidents happen, what makes them more likely to happen, what can happen after an accident and, crucially, how to avoid them in the first place.

This follows on from our hugely successful Drive for Life event two years ago so that knowledge and understanding of these issues can be raised for the the current Year 12 and 13 students.

The event has been organised jointly by the school, Gloucestershire Police, Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service and Gloucestershire Road Safety Partnership.  We are immensely grateful to over 80 personnel from the emergency services and other organisations who are working with the students today.  We are also grateful for the support of other organisations, including the County and Town Councils.
