GCSE results 2021

Excitement, relief and joy were the overriding emotions at KLB School today as students collected their exam results.

Tim Rand, Headteacher, stated ‘the Year 11s have shown amazing resilience and determination, and worked extremely hard to achieve what are excellent grades. They have been an absolute joy to work with and the grades they have received today are a result of many years of hard work and are richly deserved; they should be immensely proud of themselves. KLB staff have taught and supported the students fantastically and are excited for the students as they move on to the next stage of their lives. We will be welcoming many back into the Sixth Form, but regardless of their chosen path, I am confident they will all enjoy successful futures. We wish everyone the best of luck’

Tim Rand, Headteacher, stated “our Year 13s have worked tremendously hard and overcome great challenges to achieve results of which they should be immensely proud. This group of individuals have adapted so well to new ways of learning during the pandemic, developing great resilience and independence but also showing much togetherness and community spirit. They are an exceptional year group and fully deserve their fantastic grades; we wish them all the best for the future. I would also like to thank the outstanding KLB staff who have gone above and beyond over the difficult last 18 months to make todays’ celebrations possible.”

Hannah Khan, Deputy Headteacher Head of Sixth Form at Katharine Lady Berkeley’s School said “we are thrilled with the excellent grades achieved by our Year 13 students. They have overcome the many obstacles of the last 18 months with an exceptional work ethic and a positive approach to their learning.
