Ice Skating Rewards Trip

KLB

On Friday 9th December 104 students descended onto ‘The gateway Ice Rink’ in Cirencester. This trip was arranged to acknowledge and reward students from Years 7-10 for their hard work, good effort and positive attitude this term. Students arrived in their hats, scarves and gloves ready for a cold but fun packed activity.

There was a buzz of excitement as students loaded onto two coaches. Year 9&10’s arrived first and hopped onto the ice. Year 7&8’s were soon to follow and swiftly put their skates on to enjoy the balancing act of ice skating.

There was gliding, several dolphin rides, some holding onto the side skaters and defiantly a lot of falling and not just from the students! The comical arm and leg flailing were a common theme and it was quite impressive to see how many students who could stay standing using this method.

Well done for all students efforts this term and there will be more rewards opportunities next term, so keep up the hard work.
