The music and drama departments were so proud to welcome two sold-out audiences to the Berkeley Theatre, to watch the product of several months’ hard work by over 80 students. KLB In Lights was a cabaret-style evening, celebrating 20 songs from some of our favourite musicals. The cast assembled for several chorus songs, including Seasons of Love from Rent, One Day More from Les Miserables, and Oom-Pah-Pah from Oliver. Outstanding solo performances from Jacob Bray, Bea Wiggins, Hermione Wiggins, Gus Claydon, and Kezia Stuckey, demonstrated their confidence and courage. Students also worked in small groups, which spanned all year groups, to create tight-knit performances of Your Fault  from Into The Woods, Omigod You Guys from Legally Blonde, and many more.

As usual for shows at KLB, a student ensemble of over 20 musicians, from across all year groups accompanied the cast. The tech crew also entirely comprised students, with Daniel Sadler in charge of sound, and Zach Jones and Posie Stewart controlling lighting.
