Students Celebrate A Level Success 2025

KLBSixth Form

The sunshine on A level results day perfectly matched the mood, as we gathered to celebrate the achievements of our year 13 students. Nerves soon gave way to celebration as students opened their grades and shared them with parents.

From exciting and ambitious university courses to competitive apprenticeships, and from industry placements to gap-year adventures, the Class of 2025 has shown that there are many pathways to success – all underpinned by resilience, ambition, and a strong sense of community.

Hannah Khan, Headteacher, said, “It has been a privilege to see this group of students grow in confidence, embrace challenges and support one another. With over a third of grades at A* or A, they have demonstrated what is possible through hard work, resilience and ambition. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch our students thrive. None of this would have been achieved without the commitment and expertise of our staff, who have encouraged them every step of the way.”  Among those delighted with their results were:

Jayden (left) is delighted with his A*A*A* and is looking forward to studying Chemical Engineering with Industrial Study at Birmingham University.

From left to right, Katie is excited about starting her apprenticeship with Bishop Fleming. Bethan (AABA) is heading to study Medicine at Plymouth University. Frankie (AAA) is looking forward to studying Chemistry at Bristol University.

It was smiles all round from Lilly (pictured left) and Isabella. Lilly (AAB) is heading to Liverpool University to study Marketing with a Year in Industry, and Isabella (A*AA) is off to the University of Bath to study Structural and Architectural Engineering.

George’s superb grades (A*A*A) provide a platform for him to explore a wide range of exciting opportunities through his Computer Science at the University of Southampton.
