We celebrated the 2024 Prize Giving on a cold January evening at the beginning of term, carefully timed so that last year’s Year 13 students had not yet returned to university.

The variety of awards reflect both the history and values of our school. From the Pembroke College Cup for Achievement at A Level to the Unsworth Award for Determination, KLB celebrates a wide range of both academic success and community and charity contribution.

We presented a new award this year, the Nichala Gallivan Cup for English Language, dedicated in memory of Nichala who made such an impact on the department during her time at KLB.

The number of awards for key stage 3 subjects also increased, with many happy recipients as the photographs show.
