Report a Concern Anonymously with Whisper
At Katharine Lady Berkeley’s School, we want everyone in our community to feel safe, supported, and heard. That’s why we use SWGfL Whisper – a confidential reporting tool that lets students share concerns quickly, securely, and anonymously if needed.
What Is Whisper?
Whisper is a safe and anonymous way for you to report anything that’s worrying you – whether it affects you directly or someone else. It connects directly with our safeguarding team, who will review and respond to every message received.
You can use Whisper to report:
- Bullying (online or in person)
- Concerns about safety or wellbeing
- Peer pressure or inappropriate behaviour
- Mental health worries
Anything else that is making you or someone else feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
Who Can Use It?
Whisper is available to:
- Students – if something is happening to you or someone you know
How It Works
You can send a message using the Whisper link below or text your concern directly to our confidential Whisper number.
You do not need to give your name unless you choose to.
All messages are seen only by our trained safeguarding team.
We treat all concerns seriously and with respect.

👉 Or text your concern to: 07860 021323. To make sure your message reaches our school, you must start your message with our school code: KLB1 (Then write your message as normal)
Example:
KLB1 I’m worried about someone being bullied in Year 9.
Is It Really Anonymous?
Yes — if you want it to be. Whisper allows you to report something without giving your name, unless you choose to include it. Your message will go straight to the school’s safeguarding leads, who will take appropriate action.
Even if you stay anonymous, we will still investigate and follow up the concern.
If you don’t want to use Whisper, that’s okay. You can also speak to a trusted adult in school.
Remember:
Speaking up is never wrong. Whether you use Whisper or another way to reach out, we’re here to help.
