A lovely sunny day on Friday was made all the more colourful by the spectacular costumes from this year’s sixth form leavers. From Smurfs to Shrek to Ed Sheerans and Disney Princesses, lower school lessons were enlivened by visits and performances, and some rather chilling Squid Game eliminations.
As ever, it was a fitting end to the students’ KLB journey shared by the whole community and marking the enormous contribution they have made during their time with us. Our final assembly was celebratory and nostalgic by turns with music and awards and speeches. We were able to look back at all that the students have achieved and how far they have come.
On Monday morning, as I write this, the study library is packed, as usual, with year 13 students revising for their exams. We wish them all well over the coming weeks and for their next steps as they make their way in the world whether it be undertaking apprenticeships, employment or heading off to university; we know they will make their mark.
