Yet another quiz result separated by just one point! Impressively quick answers throughout the general knowledge round saw JEC lead 32-24 at the half way point. However, SMR were able to put together an impressive run of current affairs answers to get the win on the very last question! Well done to both teams. Congratulations to 12SMR who are the first Y12 finalists.

12CMT 36 – 28 12NJG
After a few weeks off, it was great to get the quiz up and running again. A strong display from both teams, with 12CMT edging the general knowledge round 26-24, and then going on dominate the current affairs round. As a result, 12NJG have been awarded the Y12 Wooden Spoon! Well done to 12CMT for avoiding this award!

12JWA 42 – 32 12NJG
Yet another quiz that was decided by the team who was best prepared for the current affairs round! Both 12NJG and 12JWA were neck and neck in the first round, with JWA just edging it 28-26 after the general knowledge round. However, it was clear JWA had prepared well for the current affairs around, limiting NJG to just 2 correct answers, compared to their 6. Well done to Mr Waugh for a win on his Sixth Form Quiz debut!
