Katharine Lady Berkeley’s School is a highly successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive with 1505 students on roll including 297 in the sixth form.
The school has a long history. It was founded on October 20th 1384 by Katharine, the wife of Lord Berkeley, and has operated continuously since that date. Our school nestles under the southern tip of the Cotswold escarpment, between the town of Wotton-under-Edge and the village of Kingswood in Gloucestershire.
The school offers young people a real sense of community in which they are happy, where they thrive and achieve excellent results. The focus is very much on ensuring that students make the best progress possible, and enjoyment is critical to making this happen.
