Our senior boys and girls team, as well as our junior boys and girls teams, qualified as Stroud District winners, for the County finals at GL1 leisure centre in Gloucester earlier this month. Featured here are our Senior Year ten teams:-

For most of our students this was their first taste of competitive rowing against schools from across the County. Many of the opposing teams comprised of experienced rowers, so our task was going to be difficult. Featured here are our Junior Year 8 teams.

I’m pleased to report; all our teams showed great determination, putting in one hundred percent effort throughout the competition and were very supportive of each other. On the day all our junior teams and senior girls’ team were placed fourth in the County in their respective competitions. Our senior boys’ team came third, in bronze medal position. This was a great achievement, considering our lack of experience. We are now awaiting confirmation of the individual placings, due out at the end of this month.
