Towards the end of January 2023, 26 brave Chemists (23 from year 12 and three from year 13) spent up to two hours of their lives taking on the challenge of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s 55th International Chemistry Olympiad.

Results have now come in and we are delighted that five KLB students achieved a Silver Award (putting them in the top 23.4% of students in the country) and nine achieved a Bronze Award (putting them in the top 39.5% of students in the country).

Very commendable results indeed – congratulations to all who took part and here’s to next year!
