District Archery Competition Winners
On Wednesday 27 November, KLB archery team competed in the District qualifiers at Archway School. They went up against teams from Kingshill, Stroud High and Sir William Romney’s Schools. After an intense eight ends, KLB were able to beat Stroud High with a score 68 to 65, with an arrow average of 8.36 (0.2 higher than that of Stroud High), an average detail score of 75 and one detail scoring 83/90. KLB now advance into the County Finals, which will take place on Tuesday 24 March 2020 at Cheltenham College.
This is a fantastic achievement by our KLB team, who have homed their skills at our Thursday lunchtime archery club. New members are welcome to attend in the New Year.
