On Saturday 11 September, we entered two teams into the NSEA Show-jumping competition at Rectory Farm. Our 70cm team of Ella Cranwell, Ortensia Littlewood, Winnie Read and Maddie Hall-Smith, featured with their rosettes on the right, went well on the day and bagged team third place. This was especially pleasing on three accounts. Firstly, all the riders went clear in the class, secondly it was Ortensia’s first competition representing the school and finally Ella was riding her new pony, Aslan for the first time in a NSEA competition.

Our 80cm team of Ella Cranwell, Ortensia Littlewood, Winnie Read and Rachel Turnbull, featured below, matched the performance of the 70cm team with a third place in a competitive field. Special mention to Ella and Rachel who went clear in this class.
