Rewards Trip to Cirencester Ice Rink 2022

KLBTrips

On Friday 9 December, 104 students descended onto The Gateway Ice Rink in Cirencester. This trip was arranged to acknowledge and reward students from Years 7-10 for their hard work, good effort and positive attitude this term. Students arrived in their hats, scarves and gloves ready for a cold but fun packed activity.

There was a buzz of excitement as students loaded onto two coaches. Those in years 9 and 10 arrived first and hopped onto the ice. Students in years 7 and 8 were soon to follow and swiftly put their skates on to enjoy the balancing act of ice-skating.

There was gliding, several dolphin rides, some holding onto the side skaters and a lot of falling – not just from the students! The comical arm and leg flailing were a common theme and it was quite impressive to see how many students could stay standing using this method.

Well done to all students who continue to work hard and put in maximum effort; there will be more rewards opportunities next term, so keep up the good work.
