Indoor hockey has returned to the school with a huge level of success! At the start of the season, it was agreed that 4 teams would be entered into England Hockey Super 6s competition. All teams were highly competitive in their respective county competitions. The KLB Indoor squads would face Dean Close, Cheltenham College, Cheltenham Ladies College and The King’s School in the County competitions. Our U16 girls, many of whom were playing the indoor format for the very first time, finished a respectable 3rd place whilst our U18 girls claimed 2nd place as well as qualification to West Regional Finals. Our U16 Boys finished Runners-Up and our U18 Boys won their competition, with both teams qualifying for West Regional Finals.

The West Regional Finals for our U18 girls was a hugely competitive affair, with the girls drawn in the same pool as Clifton College, Millfield and Blundell’s. The girls gave a superb account of themselves on the day and really enjoyed the experience of competing alongside such prestigious hockey schools. It has been such a wonderful return for Girls Indoor Hockey this academic year and they have certainly provided the perfect platform to inspire future generations to get involved.
