District Sportsability 2019

Sport

A group of our students, featured below, took part in a District Sportability event at Wycliffe College on Wednesday 23 October organised by the School Games Organiser, James Jeffery and Allsorts. The aim of this festival was to provide an opportunity for students to develop their sporting ability, engage with students in their school and others, experience part of school life that they might not have before, and create positive experiences for their school life.

During the morning, our students competed against other schools in the Stroud District in Boccia, Target and Curling competitions.

James Jeffery, Stroud SGO commented, “all the students that took part had a brilliant attitude towards the day.”
Planning is currently underway to offer further events for early next year and we look forward to receiving details of these.
