A huge congratulations to Year 12 student Jake Edwards who has been selected for the England U18 Hockey squad following an exciting period of assessment camps and training days during September and October. Selection to the England Age Group Programme is a significant milestone for a junior hockey player. 

This will give Jake the opportunity to experience a high-quality and inspirational training environment during regular training days and camps. He will also gain exposure of playing top European nations, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Ireland and the Home Nations, in camp-based activity and tournaments. Education is delivered by specialists in the field of anti-doping, nutrition, strength and conditioning, injury management and psychology. 

As a school, we have seen all of the hard work, dedication and passion behind this wonderful success story. We wish Jake all the very best in the coming months as he continues to make us very proud.
